Millot’s wine is 100% old vine Chardonnay from gravelly soil, picked and sorted by hand, and aged in old oak barrels for twelve months. The resulting wine, like everything the domaine produces, is fresh and vibrant with notes of citrus, flowers and minerals. . The grapes come from Meursault. The wine has a diam closure.

Millot’s Bourgogne Chardonnay is always a pleasant surprise. Made from Meursault fruit it presents as a baby Villages wine with all the character you could ask for. Bright pale yellow. The nose displays lemon, grapefruit and hazelnuts with some mint and smoke in the background. There’s excellent palate weight, not heavy, not light, but just right. The finish features crushed rock minerality. A lovely balanced wine.

Bill Nanson "The Burgundy Report"

2 parcels, Pellans and Grand Couture. 9 months of aging in oak with 10% new oak, the rest of the oak 8-10 years old. A nice nose here, recognisably Meursault. There’s plenty of volume in the mouth, faintly saline accented flavour, round - this is certainly a junior Meursault in style; vibrant, a little mineral with faint oak bitters in the finish - excellent Bourgogne!   Diam closure.
