From two parcels - Aux Raviolles right on the Nuits-St-Georges border and Vigneux which lies across the road from Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru La Croix Rameau and the Grand Cru Romanee-St-Vivant. Vigneux is small at just 2.63 hectares and we rarely see it. It was part of the legendary Henri Jayer's Vosne-Romanee.

Vigneux was part of the legendary Henri Jayer's Vosne-Romanee.
Dark violet-black with purple hues. Heady aromas of black fruits, violets and spice. There’s a little new oak. It is a very intense and classic Vosne-Romanee with its aromatic lift. The glossy palate is full of spice with serious weight, power and depth. There’s balancing tannin on the finish that augurs extremely well for a decade or more in the cellar. This is rather serious! 13.5% alcohol.
