A grippy style, with notes of garrigue, tobacco and chestnut leaf along the edges, keeping the core of steeped cherry and plum fruit focused. Warm stone and singed cedar details form the backdrop on the finish. Best from 2017 through 2028. 6,000 cases made. - J.M

65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvèdre, 5% Cinsault, 5% Terret Noir. 30% is aged in a mixture of barriques (new and one year old) and demi-muids for 12 months, and the other 70% in concrete and stainless steel. Deep crimson. Much riper nose than most. Rich and sweet. Pretty complete. Not earthy and more on the black cherry side but this wine gives lots of pleasure. Medium persistence.
Vinous - Josh Raynolds
Full ruby. Ripe red and dark berry and vanilla scents show good energy and pick up a spicy nuance with air. Velvety and seamless on the palate, offering pliant black raspberry and cherry compote flavors plus a hint of candied flowers. Shows strong punch and cling on the smoke-accented finish, which is framed by gentle tannins that fade out quickly.
