Morey-St-Denis 1er Cru Les Genavrières is a tiny vineyard of just 1.19 hectares. Part of it was also incorporated into the Grand Cru Clos de la Roche as recently as 1971. Jasper Morris in Inside Burgundy states “The only Premier Cru bottling I know of is that of Domaine des Mont Luisants”. However, there are now a couple of other people who bottle the wine. Never-the-less it is a very rare vineyard. Some consider it to be a baby Clos de la Roche.
