Bill Nanson, The Burgundy Report:
Lots of open interest here – the aromas are pure airy and complex – they go deep too – lovely. Wide and intense on the palate. The energy is excellent as is the flavour complexity. Long, mouth-watering tasty wine. An excellent wine.

Black cherry and blackberry are framed by vanilla and toasty oak in this flamboyant red, which is supple and juicy, with a lingering aftertaste of violet and berry notes, as well as chalky tannins. A profile of unrestrained energy. 94 Points
From a 1ha parcel in Les Champs Traversins that Bichot owns and farms organically. After a long, slow fermentation the wine ages over two winters in cask (70% new); the result is rich and lovely, with lustrous dark fruit, smoke and spice. On the palate, the wine shows impressive density and the tannins carry this to a lingering finish. Drinking window 2024-2039.
In the Champs Traversin sector. Very pretty red purple colour, with a lighter fruit after the power of Latricières. Sandy soil could be a worry in the hot dry years, but came through well. Good natural acidity, lively pure red fruit, fresher finish and very good length. Not too ripe at all.
