Jasper Morris MW
Dark purple. There is a bright juicy exuberant pinot nose, dark fruit but still lifted, more energy than the Coteaux Bourguignons. More structure with some tannins, and still good acidity. The fruit in 2020 is only a mite richer than typical Castagnier. Tasted: December 2021

In Gevrey also with some 20% villages wine from Morey included…
More incisive, finely structured nose - earthy, fine and again perfumed. Mouth-filling, layered, finely grained no dryness, really complex. I would say a great Villages!
