The Domaine de Suremain comprises 18 hectares of vines spread across some of Mercurey's finest appellations. The property has been in the same family for seven generations and is currently run by Yves and Loic Suremain.
Domaine de Suremain have 6 different red Mercurey including 5 Premier Crus. They also have a white from the 1er Cru En Sazenay. And the prices are just tremendous, especially considering the great reviews.
The Mercurey appellation is the most renowned of the Cote Chalonnaise, and one of the most important appellations of Burgundy. Mercurey is named after the messenger of the Gods in Roman mythology.
