Domaine Fourrey is a fourth generation producer in the heart of Chablis. The estate is 20 hectares in size and produces Villages, Premier Cru and Grand Cru Chablis.

Jean-Luc and his sister Marie-Jose team to make a citrussy, flinty style of Chablis. The wines are concentrated and saline, with attractive stoney and mineral associations and a long, clean finish. 

The domaine is one of a small number of producers the Premier Cru Cote de Lechet. The wine is something of a Cinderella amongst the Premier Crus. The site produces a wine with a floral nose sometimes said to resemble English rose, moving to a stony, mineral palate of great elegance.

In addition to the regular cuvee aged in stainless steel they make a parcel of the 1er Cru Cote de Lechet in fut de chene. 25% of the oak is new, 25% one year old and the rest is aged in vat. It is an interesting contrast to the regular wine.
